What Is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD), is the second most commonly occurring cannabinoid and one of many non-psychoactive components of cannabis. Unlike THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid most cannabis consumers seek out, CBD not only does not produce a “high” among consumers, it can actually counteract some of the psychoactivity of THC. Medical patients and recreational consumers often desire CBD for its numerous potential medical benefits, which can include relief from inflammation, pain, anxiety, psychosis, seizures, spasms, and other conditions.* If you’re interested in learning more about whether or not CBD could prove beneficial for your health and well-being, we encourage you to read our blog post, “CBD – The Healer of the Cannabinoids.” Be sure to ask your doctor if CBD may be helpful for you.
