Rockies Open Day – April 7th – In Denver, Spring doesn’t start until the Rockies play their first home game. This is an all-out party in LoDo that starts the morning of Friday, 4/7. This is one of the busiest days in LoDo all year, when people come in from all over the state to watch the start of America’s favorite pastime in the 303. Spring Skiing/Snowboarding – There’s nothing like driving an hour and half to get up to the mountains to shred your favorite spot. In the springtime, you can even rock shorts and a tee on the slopes! Derby Day – May 6th – Get your seersucker suit and big hat out because Denver really knows how to throw a Derby Party. This is one big day in Downtown Denver, with parties scattered across the city.
