3 October 2018 | Edibles, Full Melt

What you’ll need:

  • 1 package of Full Melt Caramels
  • 2 tbs. of your milk of choice (milk substitutes work too!)
  • 1 quart sauce pot or double boiler
  • Rubber spatula
  • Cooking thermometer

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 12 minutes

Recipe Notes: It’s important to keep your cook temperature below 200 degrees F to prevent the THC from cooking out.

Step 1: Place unwrapped caramels in the bottom of a saucepan or double boiler over low heat and add milk.

Step 2: Stir frequently to prevent caramel from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Use a rubber spatula to scrape any mixture off the sides of the pan. Leave your cook thermometer in the pan during this step to ensure temperature stays below 200 degrees.

Step 3: Once caramel is fully melted, remove from heat immediately to prevent overcooking.

Step 4: Slice or coat your favorite apples and enjoy!

*Pro Tip: Drizzle over coffee, tea, or hot chocolate for a delicious Fall pick me up!
